Use Bluetooth accessories with your Apple Vision Pro

Connecting Bluetooth devices to Apple Vision Pro

To connect most compatible Bluetooth devices with Apple Vision Pro, follow the device’s instructions to enter pairing mode. Then open Settings > Bluetooth on Apple Vision Pro and tap the device’s name.

To connect AirPods and some models of Beats headphones, just put them in your ears. Apple Vision Pro connects to them automatically if they’re already associated with your Apple Account and if they’re not being used by another device. To connect compatible hearing devices and other Bluetooth headphones with Apple Vision Pro, put the device in pairing mode. Then open Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices on Apple Vision Pro and tap the device’s name.

Apple Vision Pro compatibility with third-party Bluetooth devices and accessories isn’t guaranteed. If you’re having trouble connecting Apple Vision Pro to your third-party device, contact the device’s manufacturer for help.

AirPods and Beats headphones

All current models of AirPods and Beats headphones can connect to Apple Vision Pro. For the best experience, including Lossless Audio and ultra-low latency, use AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C).

Keyboards, mice and trackpads

Most Bluetooth keyboards and mice made by Apple and other manufacturers can connect to Apple Vision Pro. Vision Pro also works with Apple Magic Trackpad.

Apple Vision Pro isn’t compatible with older models of Apple keyboards, mice and trackpads that use removable batteries.

Controllers

All controllers with MFi (Made for iPhone) designation work with Apple Vision Pro. This includes controllers made by Xbox and PlayStation – and any controller that works with iPadOS.

Hearing devices

All hearing devices with MFi designation can connect to Apple Vision Pro. Some models by Phonak, IQBud and Poco are also compatible.

If you see a connectivity alert

When using a Bluetooth accessory with your Apple Vision Pro, you may see an alert in Bluetooth settings that says “Using [accessory name] may affect Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.”

Wireless interference can happen when you’re using a Bluetooth accessory with Apple Vision Pro. The more Bluetooth accessories that are connected to your Apple Vision Pro and are active, the more likely you are to experience wireless performance issues.

If you see this alert or if you’re experiencing connectivity issues, try disconnecting any Bluetooth accessories that you’re not using. In Settings > Bluetooth, tap the information button next to the accessory's name, then tap Disconnect.
