See your recordings on all your Apple devices
With iCloud, your Voice Memos recordings appear automatically in Voice Memos on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro where you’re signed in to the same Apple Account. These devices also show Voice Memos recordings that you created on your Apple Watch.
Note: Voice Memos recordings that you record on other devices don’t appear on Apple Watch.
On your Mac: If you haven’t opened Voice Memos before, it may not appear in the list of apps. Open the app, then check the list of apps again.
Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click your name at the top of the sidebar, click iCloud, then click See All next to Saved to iCloud. Make sure Voice Memos is turned on in the list of apps.
On your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro: Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, tap See All, then turn on Voice Memos.
If you want to see a recording on a device where you’re not signed in to the same Apple Account, you can share the recording.
If you have macOS 15.1 or earlier, layered recordings that were recorded on iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max won't appear on your Mac. See Add a second layer to a Voice Memos recording on iPhone.
