theHunter is a revolutionary hunting game that unites traditional gaming and social networking. The graphics are visually stunning and the environment is immersive. It is a multiplayer game in the sense that you can compete against other players on the leaderboard or in tournaments, but as of right now when you go hunt it is only you and the animals out in the woods. The game is free to install and play, after your initial license expires you can still hunt unlimited Mule Deer, but you have to purchase a permit to be able to continue to hunt Turkey, Whitetail, Feral Hog, Pheasant, Blacktail, Roosevelt Elk and Coyote. Bear and Moose coming spring 2011.
