Baba is you is a puzzle game about pushing objects and rules. The player takes control of a white quadruped creature in a series of levels.
The gameplay focuses on pushing various objects around in a single screen 2d level. The rules of each level are unique and are physically present in each level. A large part of the gameplay involves changing the rules in the level by pushing the words in them around.
A prototype for the game was initially developed for the 2017 Nordic game jam, winning first place.
