In all honesty, It's just kinda fine.

It basically combines the gameplay and vibe of the late 90's and early-mid 2000's Zelda games with the some of the souls mechanics when it comes to enviroments, collecting of "souls", use of bonfires (in this game "shrines") for healing and upgrading yourself, etc.

All of this sounds like a really innovative and interesting combination of genres in theory, but the execution falls short of being anything spectacular in my opinion as it fails to really do anything interesting that other games in these genre's aren't doing to make this game really stand out in any particular way, It's just kinda of a basic mashup that fails at being a really good platformer nor a really good souls-like either.

With all of that being said, I don't think it's a bad game by any means, but it's not great either. It's just kind of okay in a way that keeps you playing but will have you probably forget about it once you're finished.

May be worth a pick up on sale if you really like platformers

Once you get beyond the steep learning curve of understanding the characters, their builds and what the items do / which items good or not. This game is excellent in nearly all aspects with tons of replayability.

This and The Binding of Isaac are probably the best rougelike games money can buy and is worth a pick up even now if you don’t already have it. Best experience is in co-op with at least 1 other person

TL:DR I like this game a lot and It's worth a pick up on sale

I'm currently through the first chapter and a decent chuck of the way through the second chapter and from what I've played up to this point I'm having a blast with this game so far. The open world is MASSIVE and has plenty of ubisoft-esque things to do, combat and stealth are decent, controlling of the ship and ship battles are quite fun if a little repetitive, the RPG elements and the character building are decently well thought out and all of the builds feel quite viable.

It's not really an Assassin's creed game though, More like Ubisoft's attempt at an elder scrolls type RPG game grounded in Ancient Greece for historical sakes. As long as you go in not expecting the game to be the same as Assassin's Creed 2 you're in for a good time. Worth a pick up on sale

Don't let the fact that this is a ubisoft game stop you from playing it. This is an open world third person FPS game that is incredibly fun, looks gorgeous and runs smoothly and is 100% worth a buy and play when it's on sale, even in 2024. Only downsides are it can be a little confusing for the first 2-3 hours and you have to install ubisoft connect.

Even tho it's an older game and basic by modern standards The game plays insanely well and is really easy to get sucked into for a platforming hack and slash, Combat and movement is very smooth from the get-go and the pacing of story and unlocks makes sense and feels rewarding once you learn everything.

One of my favourite platformers of all times back when I played it for the first time on the Xbox 360 and definitely worth playing, even at full price.

If Portal, Braid and The Stanley Parable had a threesome love child abomination, The Entropy Centre would be the trigene abomination. Abomination aside, This game is quite fun and well written. Definitely worth a pick up even if you're new to puzzle games.

One of those rougelite games you can slam your face into over and over before they became a completely oversaturated genre of games.

One of the better rougelites for sure, Fun once you learn how everything works. Would pick up if rougelites are your thing.

Basically just an expansion of Dishonored 2. with a really lame mass effect 3 type ending. despite this the game is still quite fun and worth a pick up when it's on sale if you like the other dishonored games.
