Better than the first one in almost every way.

DO NOT FORGET to use soulstones to fudge the RNG to get a possible refill on a skill you're using / a new different skill.
You will start getting metric buttloads of gems in short order.

You can play a bare knuckle cyclops that explodes enemies into mists of gore and blood; or a skeleton that has way too many ants.

First fort had to be abandoned because I had a Named Giant Sparrow and his effing HAREM descend on my first migrant wave and got two kids and one adult, all of which were related to various surviving members of the original six starters

I like it when the numbers go up and the ships explode

It's got hideous eye bleedingly bad color schemes for fused monsters and it's totally viable to build a party around casting apocalypse because debuffs can't hurt you if everything is exploding from all of the explosions; whats not to love?
