Limbus Company is... Just good. Story is interesting enough, at least it have both comedy, drama and action. Characters well written, they act as they should and there IS character development. They don't stay the same through the story. We had only like 4 chapters when another 9 or even more ahead, but there's already changes in relationships between characters. And yeah, every NPC should die, that's the law.

Gameplay at the same time simple, deep and fast. Someone may say "Meh, you can pick one of two attacks? That's braindead simple", but that only at the first look. There're a lot of characters (to be more precise, identities of our 12 characters, that change their appearance, stats and gameplay) that have different types of damage, sins (I guess for simplicity I can kinda compare it to elemental damage?), effects, power, passive abilities, that can combine in a curious and bizzare ways.

And as I mentioned characters, yes, this is gacha-game, but I never ever saw so F2P friendly gacha system. You can pull characters (identities, as I said), Lunacy, resource for the pulls, comes from everywhere. Completed story mission? Take lunacy. Completed daily exp mission? Take lunacy (but once, for the first clear). Ended run in rougeliteasque mode? Take lunacy. Devs messed up desctiption of the skill? Take a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ten-pull and resources to upgrade your characters.
Yes, there's no pity. 200 pulls for guaranteed legendary charactes is not a pity, it's pity (ba-dum-tsss). Guaranteed rare character only if you do a ten-roll, not whey you do ten rolls. But, when you get a duplicate of an identity, you get shard, that you can exchange for any identity you want. You also get shards from battle pass.

Visual and audio. Oh god, this is good. Just... there's line of identities that use realistic kung-fu moves from different styles, and they look just so good. Visual style is one thing, it's subjective, I agree, but I am fond of it.
Voice acting. Yeah, yeah, only Korean dub, as for me, I don't have problem with it. But voices are perfectly picked for each character, even some random guy from the street with a loly-pop in a mouth sounds nice, what to say about key characters from chapters.
And what 'bout music... I'll just say that plot boss themes are written by indie group Mili, and they amplify emotion from the battle to the high. "Between Two World" (especially Realm of Dark) and "Fly, My Wings" make respective fights feel amazing and even can bring someone to tears. Other OSTs are good too. Final theme of second chapter, whole volume of chapter 4 OST, event music just catchy.

I covered every aspect of the game I can think about, I hope I helped you with this review. Though I made it to support Project Moon in this time of review bombing, but I sincerely enjoy this game and I have no regret playing it for 400 hours in half of the year.
