Multiplayer is wonderful, easily accessible, and has no needless hurdles to start playing with other people.
The speed of the combat can be hard to adjust to, but is a great experience to use wirebugs to travel across the map in ways we never have before. In addition, a second buddy, the Palamute, also gives mobility options I have enjoyed.
The amount of items needed for a quest has been narrowed down, which is a strong suit as we also need to keep farming for what we use.
The QoL in this game mixed with its strong fundamentals makes Rise my favorite Monster Hunter game to date.

A few things that should be considered, however, is that Wyvren Riding is super fun for those that enjoy it. It has the problem currently that someone has to ride it or they have to stop attacking and they cannot pick up items in the area and it disrupts the hunt too much. This is further inconvenienced by monsters themselves have the ability to make other monsters become rideable, which makes little sense considering they need to be ridden with ironsilk from hunters. Wyvren Riding is good but needs some fundamental adjustments and more options to not force the battle to change this way.
The DLC is wonderful too! The only DLC that"s a downer in any sort of way is the character edit vouchers. I think that there needs to be an initial purchase to unlock the feature permanently rather than buying vouchers in bundles. The free single use one is fine, but if we just had the option to unlock it permanently, for purchase or for free, this would make the idea simpler to utilize.
I am hopeful for the future of Monster Hunter.
