Ok so I'm gonna give a full review because of how controversial this game is. This is not completely spoiler free, but I guess if you are reading this, you don't care.

I first heard about this game online and how it's the "incest game" I knew nothing about the game and went in blind out of curiosity. I find it sad a bit that people just think this is the incest game or people who thinks this romanticize incest. This goes both ways for haters and fans. I would highly suggest to not play this with any family members, the only acceptable person to play together is your partner. Not your friends either. No. It's just really gross and weird. Now, that's out of the way, I'm gonna actually analyze it.

The story is basically a puzzle novel and it's not too hard that you have to search up the walkthroughs and it's quite compelling imo. The character dynamic is interesting, to see how Ashley and Andrew interact with each other. This is meant to be psychological horror, so there's a lot of shock elements in the story, such as cannibalism, satanism, murder (like jeffrey dahmer style but without the s3x part obv). Psychologically speaking, there's a lot of toxicity, manipulation, and gaslighting. It's quite interesting to watch it all unfold. The game isn't very graphic but it is very very disturbing. It is meant to be disturbing. The game is not finished yet but I found the story a lot more interesting than I expected.

For example, Ashley is clearly the yandere little sister who always manipulates and gaslights her brother Andrew. She doesn't really care about the consequences of her action, and she puts Andrew on a pedestal. She wants all of Andrew's attention and vehemently despises any girls near him. She claims he is "the best best BEST thing ever". In a dream sequence, it is revealed that she views him as his brother, friend, soulmate, and family. She is quite the psychopath. Andrew is a bit more moral, but again he is more concerned about himself and Ashley than other people. Andrew is very protective and possessive of Ashley as well. He also uses her as a way to cope with his guilt and as emotional comfort. (He fakes nightmares so that he can hold her in bed). Personally, even though Ashley is super yandere, I think Andrew is more implied to have romantic incestuous feelings towards Ashley. You will have to play the game to know.

Now, it's time to address the incest issue. I find it sad that it's all that people care about in this game. The haters keep saying that "omg incest is not good" "stop normalizing it". It's not ♥♥♥♥♥ normalized at all in the game. It's meant to be disturbing and gross, and it is. It's to add even higher shock value. In fact, they didn't even do it, it was just a vision. As if we're gonna ignore the cannibalism, murder and stuff. I mean I personally think murdering your own parents and eating them, then grinding them to blender juice and dumping them into the ocean is far more disturbing, but you do you. Most of the haters never even actually played the game. The game does not condone incest, and is there to have shock value. It's meant to gross you out, and it did. Congrats, you're normal. Some people say "but it can be shocking without incest." Yeah it can, but why is it so wrong to have it? It's never glorified. It's supposed to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you think this game is normalizing incest, it might as well have also normalized satanic rituals, killing your own parents, and cannibalism. You should probably get your head checked in that case.

As for the fanbase, I also have to address it. Some of the fans are so ♥♥♥♥♥ cringe bro. DO NOT check the subreddit. I beg you. Anyways, some people are here only because they wanna see incest. They say incest is wincest. All they care about is that one incest scene and shipping Andrew x Ashley, and watch r34 of them doing it raw or some sh*t. Well, they're missing the point. The point of this game is once again not incest and how great it is. So please stop doing it. It's supposed to be disturbing. I saw someone got downvoted in the sub for not liking incest, it's crazy. The fans of this game should also get their heads checked. Incest is supposed to be disgusting in the game and it is. End of story.

So do I actually like the game? Yeah I do. it is very interesting and I'm looking forward to ep 3 and 4. It's very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and I'm kinda interested in what the dev has to offer. The horror is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that I wonder how much more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ can it get. Once again, the game is not glorifying incest, if you're here about incest, you're completely missing the point.
