For it is already too late for those who could have forgiven you, know that I will never be among them, and perhaps too late to understand the gravity of your sin in any meaningful way. Even now I struggle to understand the soul that takes pleasure in such a deed. I pray that God sees you with softer eyes than my own and that the earth itself will not be changed by your doings, passing over you like the late spawn of an insect born into the cold season.
