A raccoon had a wonderful tail. He was very proud of his tail. He showed his tail off everywhere he went. One night he was trying to cross some train tracks and his tail got stuck. Try as he might he couldn't pull his tail free. He could have cut through his tail and got to safety, but didn't want to scar his tail. The train came and wound up cutting off the raccoon's head killing him, all because he didn't want to damage his tail.

The moral of the story: Don't lose your head over some tail
