I first saw Ark: Survival Evolved on Steam. I had heard of an upcoming dinosaur crafting survival game and, as once big fan of Minecraft, I could see the potential of a Minecraft-styled game with updated graphics and, of course, dinosaurs. So without even thinking I dived in head first and purchased it. Oh, the anticipation was killing me! What will I build first? What Dino shall I tame? What am I able to do? I had no doubt in my mind that this wasn’t going to be a game I would hate; on the contrary, I knew in my heart that it would probably become a life-killer, a game that would suck me in and captivate me.
Well guess what? It didn’t work. No, not how I felt about it. It didn’t work on my PC. It struggled to run the game on even its lowest settings, and to say I was devastated was an understatement indeed. But then a rumor surfaced that it was going to be available on the Xbox One Preview Program… As soon as it was available Im going to purchase this new version, and away I will go. But as of right now i will still vote down on the game.
