Early Access Review
So far, this light novel project is brilliant! Without going into details, the art style, the atmosphere and characters act quite faithfully to their cannon personalities!

25 years old, and the AI of this game can still be formidable compared to most modern FPS enemy AI's.
The story, we all know it. But even if you've played Black Meas, or have decided to return to the original Half Life to either relive memories of playing it when you were younger or are experiencing it for the first time, what I will say is that you are in for a damn good experience.

But please remember:
Prepare for unforeseen consequences...

From a person who's completed this game on Solo Legendary (Both campaign and Spartan Ops), I feel like like I can clear a few thing up. Bear in mind this is all my own opinion, and as I've played EVERY halo game on Xbox (As I do have the original games for Xbox).

Firstly, the story: I'll be honest, out of all the stories we've got in MCC, Halo 4's seems to be the weakest in the whole collection, whilst it still enjoyable in some sense, in other ways you'll be scratching your head thinking "What the hell, how did this happen?" for many, many areas of the story.
For example, at the ending of Halo 3, Chief is put into cyro, where nothing can be changed without him being taken out of it. But, in Halo 4, we wake up as Chief in his new armor! With nothing being stated about what has happened to his armor! Only the line "You've been busy."
Note: I'll admit after replaying Halo 3's Gravemind mission you do see Cortana starting to... Change slightly, almost foreshadowing her future.

Secondly, visual designs: With the engine 343i used for Halo 4 being limited by the hardware limitations of the Xbox 360 which can't be helped as Halo 4 was made not to long before the Xbox One and PS4 was publicly released. Back to the topic, 343i decided to change everything they could get away with. Covenant species? All visually changed into... Well, monstrosities! Not even looking like anything from Halo 1, 2, 3 hell even Reach!
Elites look like they've gone "F--K it! give me the same ♥♥♥♥ the Brutes are having!" Being more larger and looking more intimidating and to some looking more like Brutes than Elites from the other games! They're body don't even make sense, for if you look at a Elites head, they're mouths (mandibles) would realistically be poking into they're eyes! Right, there is a lot more about visual designs I'd get into but, we'd be here all day. Look, it got so bad, 343i back tracked on the designs in Halo Wars 2 (Newest halo game)

Weapon Sandbox: I'll be honest, the weapon sandbox in Halo 4 is... Interesting. Let's be simple as right, for reach factions there are 3 variants of a faction. UNSC have the pistol, fast firing and reloading good if your in a hitch. Covenant have their plasma pistol which is one of the weakest weapons but is mostly used to fire a fully charged EMP shot at enemy vehicles to either hijack or mount to then destroy. Then... We have the boltshot the Promethean pistol. For lack of a better word it is the same as the UNSC pistol but can be charged to fire a SHOTGUN round! (which cost more of it's ammo mind you) in OG halo 4 people called it the pocket shotgun! it was that cheap to use! But for the rest of the weapons they seemed to have simplified it to make it more easy for newer players to identify and use! UNSC weapons are bulky use rounds and are decent all-round weapons. Covenant weapons on the other hand sleek and agile. And mostly useless in PVP, unless your using the following needler, energy sword, beam rifle. But Promethean are... Difficult to explain some are useless like the suppressor, scattershot and in some cases the incineration cannon. Why? The incineration cannon's HUGE projectile shots "I'M HERE!" to the enemy team giving them time to run from it, it fires ONE round before it needs to reload. Best use for it I'd say is flanking the enemy with it, then firing. suppressor is a shorter range assault rifle with rubbish range and eats through ammo. I'd compare it to a SMG more than anything. Finally the scattershot, whilst most people say it's decent, I disagree it is basically a Promethean reskin of a UNSC shotgun with a LITTLE extra range. that's it, they could of given use a better CQC weapon but the scattershot is the best they can do.

There is a lot more I can go into detail with but, I feel like my blood vessels are already going to burst reliving all the rage this has put me through. I'll add comments about certain facts like game modes or enemy's if you wish. Just shout and I'll reply as quick as I can.

Right, I'll recommend it, but be warned it's a lot more... Alien then the Bungie era of halo's. (If I had to rate it, 6/10)

Are you bored of most FPS being placed on console? Yes? Well, this classic will (mostly!) Cure that!
If you love crazy, team based, objective based games then this is for you!
But, no review of TF2 is completed without mentioning the many, MANY hats! I mean seriously! WE HAVE TO MANY DAMN HATS!
(Oh, just beware that the IS a hacker bot issue currently. BUT you can kick the said hackers from matches so don't worry!)
