I found the secrets and achievements slightly too vague, the early bosses a little simple. the game is challenging though, especially if you want all those achievements. recomend just for the experience

Still a massive cheating epidemic in the game, still no major updates and the game is overrun with toxic losers who are only here to have a moderation-free haven that they can hide in and get away with their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ behaviour. The game also has bug and balance related problems that are years old at this point.

I still cannot recommend the game, as Valve is more interested in damage control rather then improving or even just maintaining the game. Don't bother downloading, Valve is an incompetent developer riding the coattails of their past achievements, which at this point, are so far in the past they don't even deserve to call them their own.

Fundamentally, there is a good game here, somewhere. However, it is now teeming with not just cheating bots and idling item farmers, but also human players who are cheating.

The cheater infestation is an enormous problem for the game that has been left to fester, with cheats getting more sophisticated, difficult to detect, and offering more subtle advantages to cheaters all while being completely undetectable by Valve's antiquated anti-cheat software.

This issue, in addition to the bot crisis (you will be lucky if you only have to kick a few bots from the lobby every new match ) mean that the game is in a very shaky state. I cannot recommend this game to new players.

I wrote my old review some 8 years and 6000 hours ago when the game was in a much better state. It is not the same game anymore, sorry if you missed out on it.
