Researchers found that males ages 40–49 who ejaculated more frequently had a lower risk of prostate cancer. Those with the lowest risk ejaculated at least 21 times per month.

The study did not establish that ejaculation could prevent cancer in younger males. The researchers remain unsure whether frequent ejaculation fights prostate or any other cancer in males under 40 years.
