Quite challenging, which kinda amplifies the emotional value of the game. It's hard to find a game like this with a peculiar sense of difficulty, while at the same time being very merciful and letting you respawn at every new screen. Merciful, but not at all easy. I'm a little salty that the game lets you unlock achievements if you use assist mode but whatever :P. Assuming you don't use assist over-rampantly (or at all for that matter) you will feel super accomplished with every new place, or those pesky hard-to-get strawberries. Ive died 5,000ish times and counting lol. You might think getting to the top of the mountain is the end of the game but nay its only the start. This game has alternate levels and secrets. It has very very layered difficulty. and it seems like theres always harder-to-accomplish collectibles, secrets, & extra levels. I have not 100%'d yet and i may not soon or ever either lol. You will see yourself improve as you dive into the game's difficulty curve, it is satisfying :3.

Don't forget to attempt B-Side Levels (which are semi hidden) once you beat the game :3 !
C-sides unlock after all B-Sides.

Good luck & ill see you at the top of the mountain :D.

UPDATE: 12K (12,000) Deaths, I cannot explain to you the feeling I get when I finish a B-Side (hardmode) level. The journey is long and arduous, and I fail so many times. But when you finally do, it's such a rush.
