It's like Dark and Darker, but worse in pretty much every aspect.

It's bad, like really bad.

There are massive balance issues, cheaters, big frame drops. You'd think that after having this delayed for as long as it was that it would feel polished but I guess that's just asking too much of a Game Dev these days. Huh.. weird.. It's almost like delivering a truly finished product at launch is just not in today's gaming industry's repertoire, go figure. Just save yourself some time and don't bother, cause knowing Capcom it's definitely not getting much better than this.

I've supported and followed this game since it's very first debut on Kickstarter so bear with me here, my opinion may be slightly biased, but even so I cannot recommend this game at this time.

I loved (almost) every moment that I played this game, they truly mastered the atmosphere of this game, the gameplay in and of itself is rough around the edges and the puzzles were at times frustrating and confusing, but despite all of the wonderful things it has to offer it unfortunately has a few fatal flaws, that being how abruptly it ends and that so much that was promised like a choice based ending depending on your morality was never implemented. You expect the game to stretch on for another 5-8 hours during the final sequence, but you get slapped in the face with a main menu screen right after the final cutscene.

It just feels like the developers were rushed, and I really felt like Ebb Software would be a cut above the other developers. and truly deliver the experience they promised, which they almost did. But unfortunately the game falls short of my expectations, literally and figuratively.

If you really want to play this game and not genuinely feel cheated or disappointed I recommend waiting for a sale or hopefully for them to release free updates that extend current content and implement content that was promised.

This is like the VR version of a reddit 50/50 thread or a 4chan rekt thread, you walk in and are simultaneously fascinated and disgusted.
Update: This app is literally just a cesspit of children and sexual degenerates. Who would have thought that child predators would have been an issue? Stay away from this sh*thole of a game, there's hundreds of things you could do better with your time; Walk your dog, do the dishes, spend time with family, go lift weights.
The possibilities are truly endless!

This game has some balancing issues and some major bugs, it's also made me rage more than any game I've played, but overall I love it. It's fun and has a great atmosphere.

The only thing I'd do if I were the devs is stop releasing new content before fixing current content. The more they add to the game the more problems arise. It's better to focus on balancing the game and fixing the bugs and getting the game to an optimal state as is, as opposed to adding a new killer or survivor every few months which add more issues.

I give this game a solid 7.5/10.

So I've played a decent little bit of this game, for the first hour I enjoyed it, but it soon became clear how much of a sh*tshow this game really is. The optimization is poor, connectivity is trash. Most games will have you at the very least with 150-200 ping. This game tries a little too hard to be Dead By Daylight, for other titles like deathgarden that works fine, unfortunately this game is so poorly executed that it just doesn't cut it. 4 point blank headshots with a shotgun on a killer should be a kill right? Wrong, the hit detection in this game is non-existent, but apparently 2 hits with an electrified baseball bat sure does the trick. Hunters seem like bullet sponges, and survivors aren't given a good enough selection of weapons to combat this, It should go without saying that the hunters should definitely have an edge on a survivor, but in it's current state you barely have a chance the majority of the time, especially if you're going against a sweaty af stitches.

All in all, I would rather binge Fallout 76 at launch than play this game any longer. There are better games out there made by SOLO devs that are FREE. 20 dollars for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? The devs must be dreaming.
