Absolutely love this dlc for one reason, cosmogenesis.
So much fun for people that like to play tech rush playstyles which I personally prefer.

-Being able to construct fallen empire buildings
-Getting fallen empire ships

also the new megastructures arc furnace and dyson swarm are a nice addition for the mid game, and really help to balance out the economy with new ways to generate credits and minerals.

Verdict: Price is a bit steep but if you enjoy playing tech empires this is a must buy.

I know it can't be fixed, but whoever it was to suggest over 1000smth planets are dumb, I don't like them, and they should be fired. The only thing this game has going for it is the star wars conversion mod being created to make it feel like you don't even are playing starfield.

No but seriously who wanted this type of Nasa-punk game?? just give us star wars and focus on a few systems and planets to make exploration actually fun BETHESDA.
It's almost like they forgot what made their games fun to play in the first place how this game came to be is absolutly beyond me.

Complete disconnected from the players.

Verdict: get the game if mods become good otherwise don't.

Having played around with this dlc(got it because of the grand edition) I can say it's worth it if you have the money.

adds the 2 things that should have been in the game at launch.
foreign investments
spheres of influence

Things to add about the rest:
lobby groups are kind of just there, never really had much of an impact other than legitimacy and some loyal pops.

The great game in the east is a nice addition if you like to play as russia

Downsides
-the price is kinda meh for the main two things you probably want, being foreign investment and power blocks aka spheres of influence

best game I have played in a long while. simply play it its beyond incredible.

FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA

pretty sure the journal for the natural borders of france is broken because after taking all of the rhine and legit everything else france had claims and didnt have claims on I still didnt get the achivement. maybe was just me but I have no clue why I did not get it.

As for the "dlc" idn the so called natural border of france does not even go clean along the rhine, and the rest of the entries are really MEH. The mods do it better.

The price is really not worth it too, I bought the big edition so I got this without "paying" but like please paradox do better.

Update on my earlier review from the launch where I said I don't recommend to buy the game.

The main points of contention I had was:

1. The combat was clunky and would make new frontlines where armies would go back to hq.
obviously frustrating, on top of that the battles would happen one at a time.
Still room for improvement but now it's tolerable.

2. general annoying features like colonisation being pretty broken. You could snipe places across the world like Hokkaido or new Zealand.(now it's fixed thankfully)

Now however a lot of things has been improved and I have changed my mind. And feel if you like politics and nation building this game would be something you could enjoy.

The political and economic side to the game is by far the games main strong points.
And is honestly so fun, being able to build and develop your nation in the image you see fit.
Things you can't do in real life ;) like a fully fledged communist utopia or full autocratic imperialist nation with slavery if you so wish.
Changing the demographic of okinawa to your own culture or any other outposts of your empire.

2.

economics is well economics, you upgrade how you use raw materials to refined products for your population not much else to say. Personally I like to micromanage my economy, if you don't just use Laissez-faire capitalism and the capitalists will build it for you essentially.

Now all thats left is for paradox to make the combat a bit more refined and you will have something even more fun aside from the politics and economics.

Conclusion.
If you like politics and nation building I can absolutely recommend Victoria 3 for you!

Okey I just have one thing to say for people who have a VR headset and a good pc.
GET luke ross's VR mod for cyberpunk. Simple.
I legit can't go back to playing on a flatscreen after experiencing this game in vr. It's the best VR experience I have ever had period.
You have to pay 10Euro to his patreon which really is the only downside, but honestly for the experience you get
its beyond worth it.
So what are you waiting for chooms? Get out there and party in arasaka tower like it's 2023!

Game itself would be fun if you could choose your actions in some way, if not in a story sense then at least let me choose dark side powers. Like let's say I wanted to get force lightning or other forbidden knowledge. I think I should be able to get them. But nope this is EA and you can't have EVIL powers nononono.

The story is also MEH and the inquisitors from star wars rebels look retarded, I'm really surprised that they didn't use their chopper lightsabers to chase after the main character....


Other than that the environments look pretty nice I guess.

もうちょっとパンチのあるストーリーだと良かったと思うが、1520円なら満足の一品です！
