Love the movement, atmoshphere and vibe. Def a good game!

Been playtesting this game for quite a while. I enjoyed it due to how unique it is. It's so rare to play a new kind of game, something that deviates from the more general genres of gaming. It is however threading on new ground, and explaining the game is hard, not only in a review but also in the game itself. The tutorial might not be covering what's needed, the UI will give you a challenge at first.

With being in playtesting, I can say that the developers are very active and quick to look at player feedback and implementing them in the game, (although now the game is in EA, implementing might be slower). So I expect rapid improvements now that the floodgates of feedback is coming in.

If you are into learning and discovering new systems in a game, if you want to find something that isn't a copy of other generic settlement games, I would recommend TFM.

This is a fun little game that's definitly worth picking up.

As the trailers and pictures show, combat is what drives this piece to high praise. The studio really focused on that part making sure it has a solid gameplay foundation to carry it to the end. The game has a simple premise, simple story and simple rpg elements.

It doesn't overstay its welcome, at 10 hours to complete, you'll get a solid round package of an adventurous rat seeking to revenge his father and secure his kingdom.

After 6 years this game still plays like it's in early access / alpha. Most of my playtime stems from 2018-2021 but I've tried it out after OWI took over. It hasn't changed much since periscope days, it seems as stagnant then. I gave it a "It has potential" as a reason to try it, but after 6 years the potential hasn't arrived. Another 6 years of "early access" is what I suspect. I can't with good conence recommend this game to anyone

This game is one of a kind! fly out in your steampowered airship and battle like swabbies above the ground! what the game deliver's best is teamplay, i haven't played any game where there has been so much coordination and laughter than GOIO. The devs are active with the community and plays weekly for all to join(if there is any space in the match)

Everything is Unlocked in guns, which is one of my favorite aspects of the game, so if you are being crushed in a match you can only blame the skill (mostly the skill of you crew!).

The main dislike can be matchmaking. Don't take this the wrong way! the match making system is good, but the lack of players (mostly 200-300 players online average) makes it hard to match up with players at the same skill. I hope with the introduction of Guns of Icarus Alliance will spring more life to GOIO and make it perfect!

i would recommend to all new players to do the tutorial (yes, it is boring) for it is very essential when you go out in you first matches to know the basics. Try to play with some Veterans if you can. Almost all veterans that i know of will gladly help you out in this game!

This game is creative and actionfilled, You can troll alot, or be serious if you choose. You build your own robot and nothing is stopping you from building the epic coffemug of DOOOM! play with pals and all that good stuff, i recommend!
