Good game but somewhat strange. It is very different from the first game in the series, taking a lot of inspiration from COD style campaigns. The story is nonsensical. The two different enemy factions force you into different play styles against them. This can be fun and frustrating at the same time. Strangely too, the campaign feels long and short at the same time. Its a fine game but kinda the black sheep of the series and probably the low point.

While the original game has aged very well, the remaster does drastically improve the lighting which shows in the game's dense jungle environments. Arguable the best upgrade is just the performance. The remaster scales well on multi core CPUs which the original did not. This drastically improves the performance and smoothness of the game even with the visual upgrades. Overall its worth a play just to experience a defining PC game. The game is rather short if you know what you're doing, and the second half of the game isn't as good as the first. But, its fun for what it is.

Highly recommend the game and with how cheap it gets on sale there isn't a reason to miss it. Always heard about this game yet somehow I had missed out on it for years. It doesn't disappoint and the writing will provide some genuine laughs. The game does show its age, and the controls could be tighter, but it is still an extremely worthwhile experience. I'm looking forward to playing the second game.

If you're going for a 100% run, there is a figment on Waterloo World you'll never find. Just look it up.

Fantastic game that brings back the joy of the older games with improvements across the board, especially in regards to the shooting. Controls are iffy as there are some controls specific to Playstation hardware that were not translated well but there is an option that provides a work around. Performance is a little heavier than I would expect, but the options menu is fantastic and allows you to see in-game changes when you tweak the settings.

Great game that follows the formula set by Wolfenstein: The New Order. If you enjoy that game or just enjoy straight forward shooters then you'll enjoy this game. I'd argue it isn't as good as The New Order but it is certainly worth playing still.

Of note, this game's engine isn't great on modern hardware and the frame rate is limited. Reference the PC Gaming Wiki page and follow the guide to install ID5Tweaker. It will provide options to increase the frame rate and increase the visual quality of the game. This game will break if the frame rate is too high, although I had less issues with that in this game than The New Order.

Fantastic game and really a gem. Arguably the best of the new Wolfenstein releases. Surprisingly good story with characters that really stand out, and really amazing gun play. Definitely play on a harder difficulty and challenge yourself with the combat.

Of note, the game's engine is... well not great for PC. Reference the PCGamingWiki page for the game and get id5Tweaker set up to get the game running better and looking better.

Devs ignore information as needed to prevent some vehicles from being as good as they should i.e. Abrams. Additionally, BR compression has gotten very bad and devs say they don't see a reason to widen BRs any. Game is fun just don't assume they're going for 'realism' or balance because they don't. Russian bias is strong.

Never been a fan of the series but this game just captivated me. The story itself is ok but really the performances within the story are the best part. Bayek is voiced and acted exceptionally well and really that's the best part of the story. The game can be repetitive and contains many of the same Ubisoft tropes that are standard across many of their games. The stealth and combat are quite fun although I would recommend the hard difficulty to really elevate the combat. I never had an issue with the leveling system since I was doing practically all the side content. Overall a great game, with an absolutely gorgeous world, a serviceable story (seriously well acted though), and fun mechanics. Picking it up on sale is a steal.

The game is amazing and extremely enjoyable but I don't think the poor performance is justified. With a 6700k (OC) and 2070 Super (OC) I consistently get 40 fps in some larger areas on a mix of medium and high settings no rtx. That just seems rather ridiculous.
