This is the best souls like experience From Software could ever grace us. From the very moment you start in Elden Ring you are introduced to the new and interesting world and it just becomes ever more confusing the more you play! You meet tons of characters on your journey who may be of service, betray you, give you a chuckle, or just call you out that you have no maidens. There are tons of bosses and challenges for you to face even after you beat the game because of how expansive this game is.

I am just going to put some good things and bad things I have with the game as I do want to specify a big issue I have.

First I want to start off with the good: The world design is fantastic as every area feels different from the rest. Certain places give you a sense of adventure while some may give you a sense of dread and fear of dying in .2 seconds. The weapons and armor are some of the best in the souls series. The combat is much more fluid than the previous souls game. Horse combat and gameplay is a very nice addition to the game. Most if not all the characters you meet feel unique and confusing as they all speak tounge.

Now I could go on and on about how good this game is but I just need to point out my biggest issue. There are tons of reused bosses in this game. In addition, I have seen regular enemies become bosses later. Worst of all, there are bosses that you fight one on one and then they are reused as a duo boss. The three biggest culprits are the dragons, godskin noble, AND THOSE CRUCIBLE KNIGHTS WHICH YOU FIGHT 7 DIFFERENT TIMES. These of course are just only a few examples of reused bosses. Just a side complaint here is the performance in some areas of the game. I know this will probably be fixed later in a patch but man those stutters are common and have affected a boss fight or two. But these performance issues didn't happen all the time to hamper my overall experience.

In conclusion, Elden Ring is phenomenal and I do have my personal complaints of the game but at the end of the day if you enjoy souls like games that From Software releases I think you should pick this one up.
