Sekiro combat that's a little slower paced, but a lot more relaxing.
Best free game I've ever played.

By the time I got to the forcefields, I just couldn't be bothered anymore.

The combat is terrible.
The saving system is garbage.
Every bush and every little tree and rock has collision detection.

The rpg mechanics and world are immersive and amazing, but the other mechanics make this game really frustrating to play. It's still fun, but no way will I be able to recommend it because I doubt most people will be able to put up with it.

Yep, Mysterious ways quest was the nail in the coffin.
Don't get this game if you want a typical experience, it only offers frustration in a beautiful world.

Gonna leave a postive review because the game is fun to play, and is scary, but it is way too short for the price of admission. 4 hours for a complete playthrough.

Another nonsensical horror game that relies in just making you confused and throwing you random situations and weird set pieces with little to no reason as to why. It does a horrible job of explaining what you need to be doing, and just becomes an overall chore to navigate since you can only walk at a snail's pace. It's also too heavily reliant on sound cues to do most of its scaring for it, and they are overused and get very annoying. Honestly, I don't see what people see in these nonsensical horror games that really have no substance to them other than throwing you into strange situations. I expected better, and I'm disappointed. Being spooky is one thing, but being an enjoyable experience is another, and this misses the mark.

The game that defined a good bit of my childhood has returned to me :D
I thought for sure they forgot about this one.

If you're like me and grew up on the originals then you will love this remake.
It is true to form and plays just like it did ~20 years ago.
It's made for nostalgic players in mind, for sure.

If you're used to modern farming sims, you might find this a bit dated in comparison -- but that's kind of the point.
This is the grandfather of them all, and it is just as glorious as it was those many, many years ago!

Update 2.0 turns this into an entirely new game, and it is one hell of an acid trip.
CDProjekt blends Bethesda/Rockstar game design into something unique and their own, and now it finally pays off in SPADES.

Early Access Review
Has the potential to be a great game, but right now it's not in a very good state.
It's plagued with bugs, and infinite loading screens.
Enemies are too damn aggressive, there's way too many of them coming at you day, after day, after day.
It feels like the game is actively punishing you for building a base, and with the new building system bases tend to take several in game days to complete. Throughout all of that you have to deal with waves upon waves of enemies making it a pain in the butt to finish.

Will update review once the game is in a more polished state, but it is riddled with crashes at the moment.
Still fun though, but not at all a complete experience, and EXTREMELY frustrating to play.

EDIT: Although it's in a better shape now after patch 07 I still can't recommend it.
It's just not fun.
The final cave is an absolute chore, and the gameplay eventually jut devolves into go here, fetch that, go here fetch that, now go here and fetch this.
Which worked great for the first game because you had the interesting caves to explore, but here most of your time is going to be spent going from bunk A to bunker B, to bunker C.
The bunkers are nowhere near as interesting as the cave system, especially the caves from the original game. You stop touring the caves not even halfway through, only for the final area to be a cave that is filled to the brim with annoying enemies that continue to respawn an oversized version of that enemy as a boss on top of it.
It's just too much, and it's just not fun.
I was never a fan of the new base building mechanics either.
Go play the original, this one blows.
