Early Access Review
This is a relaxing, play when and how you want game, based around trivial management such as growing stuff, decorating terrain, managing plants, animals, fish... you get the idea. This title is at the time of writing still in "early access", yet there are a decent variety of things to choose from and keep you motivated to return playing, numerous levels, new stuff to unlock, new particles of land to acquire. Basically it has a lot to offer and keep you busy for hundreds of hours, should you so desire. You can play the game alone or coop with friends, also you can randomly join other peoples farms for mutual benefits. The in game time runs even when youre not playing the game, so your stuff will be ready next time you visit your property after x hours. This practically means if a crash occurs there is no lost progress, you continue exactly where you stopped.

Its functional on steam deck but for me crashes frequently due to "Photon cloud error", on standard PC it never crashed once. Achievements are all obtainable and unlock accordingly, no glitched / unobtainable achievements to my knowledge. The game is slowly introducing seasonal events which become active at certain time every year so if you missed it, you can compensate next year.

Communication and interaction with developers is so far also on adequate level, they release updates frequently with corresponding update logs containing detailed info on what got changed, respond to questions and error reports, they released a roadmap on what and when to expect regarding future updates, didnt bombard us with DLC, microtransactions or any other cash grab method prior to the game even being released, as unfortunately is not rarely seen today in some other game examples.

CONCLUSION:
Im perfectly aware that this isnt going to be everyones cup of tea, but for me it provided relaxation when I needed to take my mind off other things, and it will remain my go-to place when I want to take a break from ever-growing toxicity and hacking in other multiplayer games. In its current state the game is decent and if the developers play things right, it has a bright future. So thumbs up and please keep up the good work.

Alien Isolation is a fantastic game and a great addition to the game library of any true Alien fan. I just finished my first playthrough, took me around 20 hours, and it was a rewarding experience. You can tell there was a lot of work put into the game, from game mechanics, level design, graphics, sounds, everything up to the smallest detail. The alien looks and behaves perfectly, every time i restarted he was in a different place which adds value to what your next move will be.

I know people have been giving this game all kinds or reviews, saying its too long and repetitive, the aliens moves being predictable etc. but i found none of those things to be entirely accurate. The missions need to create the environment where you will be alone for a while to experience the atmosphere fitting of the alien hunting you. Also the alien was everything but predictable, you can even get killed from the ceiling vent without seeing him. And certain levels will simply leave you speechless.

Positive:
- breathtaking graphics and level design
- great music and soundeffects
- inteligent alien that actually provokes the feel of insecurity and helplessness wherever you go
- the game perfectly balances tension in different parts of the game so you arent just being chased all the time
- challenging game difficulty forcing you to use different methods and think twice before you make your move
- a lot of eastereggs and awesome scenes that remind you of the original Alien film
- game lenght, yes i definitely wouldnt want this to last just 2-3 hours, dont know why people complain about this

Negative:
- disappointing ending for my taste, hopefully there will be a DLC to continue the story
- the price! (50 euro)

CONCLUSION
If you ever wondered whether there will be a game that can restore the dignity of Alien based games after that horrendous A:CM, wait no longer. This is the game for you, and if youre an Alien fan its a must have. Alien Isolation is a masterpiece and Im sure to give it a couple more playthroughs.
Absolutely recommended!

This game was actually a very pleasant surprise, particularly since i got it on sale just to try it out, and im glad to say it was well worth it.

The game is a decent FPS with great graphics and smooth gameplay, characters are very well written, there is a reason to care what happens to them, the game provides a satisfying challenge on ultimate difficulty, there are no severe or gamebreaking bugs, havent experienced a single crash after 70 hours of gameplay, the challenges and achievements all unlock properly and accordingly. However there are 2 aspects of the game which imo make it an above average shooter- the story and the game companion.

The story is a deep, memorable, open for interpretation type, borderline philosophical, which sticks with you for some time even after you close the game. It did however take me 2 playthroughs to completely understand it, but i value the effort put into the story and how throughout the game they slowly reveal details to you, just to give you a totally unexpected finale.

As for the follower/game companion, this game offers the most likable and usefull companion ive ever seen in a singleplayer game. I personally dont like followers because in most games they just block me in corridors, alert enemies to my presence, set off traps or make stupid remarks. Luckily Liz doesnt do any of these things and she also throws you ammo/health during combat when youre low, which makes you want to keep her around.

The game comes with 2 DLCs- Clash in the Clouds (combat challenge based) and Burial at Sea. While ive enjoyed the main game and CitC DLC very much for above stated reasons, the events that take place in Burial at Sea DLC were at least from my point of view very confusing and anticlimatic. Probably because i havent played BioShock 1 or 2 prior to this game, and their stories are bound.

CONCLUSION
Not to bother with numeric evaluation, lets just say i find this game to be exceptional. If you can, try this game out, absolutely recommended!

The best RPG game, one of the best overall games out there and by far my favourite game.

The advantages:
- open world exploring/questing system, your choice where you go or what/when you do
- excellent graphics even in vanilla skyrim, modded makes visual miracles
- good leveling system, where you dont actually reach top level after 10 hours of gameplay like in most games and then dont know what to do with yourself
- large choice of playable characters/classes, each with its unique advantages
- high replayability as you might want to try playing the game other way or other classes
- game story and quests adapt to what choices you make in the game
- which other game has werevolves, vampires and dragons in addition to all other creatures in 1 game
- if you are tired and dont feel like fighting there is still plenty of stuff to do, like build and decorate houses, make armor, potions etc
- each time you return to skyrim after playing other games you will be surprised how good it is
- makes a good break from sometimes annoying players in multiplayer games
There are a lot more positive features, but i guess this covers the essentials, as i would need much more space to cover all

Possible flaws:
- really had to try hard to think of some but i did manage to find lets say 2 miniscule negative features, after a few hundred hours put into the game some quests might get repetitive, like clear this area, dungeon, cave and so on, in that case simply take a break, play other games few days and i assure you, wont be long till youre playing again
- some of the quests, as there are literally hundreds of them, are bugged and arent registered as cleared when you defeat the leader, that can easily be fixed by downloading unofficial patches

CONCLUSION
Skyrim is a state of the art game that can and will be played for years to come as it was simply a few steps ahead of any other game back when it was released. Absolutely recommended!!
