Early Access Review
Recommended, however keep in mind this may change.

Lets start with the most important part - this is very early access. The correct therm I would use is Alpha if I have to be honest. So if you are not looking forward to jank, bugs, unfinished maps, AI etc. - better wait.

With that being said let me share what i found quite interesting about the game.

The whole art style is as advertised. Brutal, militaristic and very enjoyable.
The maps are vastly different and two of them are truly magnificent. The rest need more work as clearly they are unfinished.
Navigation is easy and the maps are very well varied as to allow you to get from A to B to C using only landmarks.

Combat feels chaotic but satisfying considering that in the early game I strongly advise avoiding all combat when possible. The weapons later on feel powerful and the feedback from firing is almost spot on - minus the shotguns that are strong but just dont feel or sound that great.
As advertised the NPCs are locked in eternal war - You are just a battlefield flee thats not worth even squashing. Meaning that most of the time if you play smart you can avoid combat that is mostly stacked against you. Or even better lead your pursuers into a squad of heavy troopers and let them sort it by themselves.
Weapon variate is good. Mind you i have unlocked about 10 or so weapons so far. But they feel good and the weapon customization strongly reminds me of Tarkov. Already spend half an hour customizing an AK.
Game progression is interesting. You start as a pest but clearly there is plenty mechanics to make you into a fighter late game. Still unsure if you would be able to take one of the big Mechs down solo even late game but that remains to be seen.

Now the negatives !
- Once you start understanding the AI you would not have any issues avoiding any situation where you are at disadvantage. After initial shock and few wipes - I can now extract quite easy from most maps. But well - Early Access.
- Jank. You will notice NPCs animation getting screwed, your own vaulting animation works about 50% of the time. Sometimes some of the NPCs will just freeze - its not that often but is noticeable. Getting closer to them will unfreeze them.
- Optimization - Early Access. But yeah i'm running the game on medium and its stable, but have read that people with great PCs are struggling to get the game stable.
- Limited content. Think of it more of a demon than a full game. But that was already communicated by the devs.

All in all the game have great potential. Now the question is how will the devs proceed and if the updates will be often and of quality.

Oh and one last thing - you will read reviews that mention the Water mechanic. Its mechanic that is related to lore and a good way to measure your progress. All the doom and gloom about it is greatly exaggerated. After about 5 hours gaming i have collected 17 real world days worth of water. So even if you play an hour a day you should be able to keep your water situation stable.

Edit. Short update - after 50 or so hours in the game. I love it. I cant wait for the devs to expand the game and include even more awesome stuff.
