Alright guys. List of recommended games and games to avoid. (Thanks, Poe!)

Reccomended:
Ace of Spades (For trolling purposes only!)
Cave Story (For those of you who like metroidians.)
Red Faction: Armageddon (The destruction would make battlefield jealous.)
Uplink (Good hacking sim is good. Steep learning curve though.)
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (Active modding community is still active! Easy to mod! Easier if you get it outside Steam, though.)
Knights of the Old Republic (No, not the MMO, the game that started that stuff.)
Jade Empire (If you like KOTOR but are more into action.)
Mass Effect 1 & 2 (For those who like stories and a bit of pew pew.)
Torchlight (Classic dungeon crawler is classic.)
Half-Life 1 & 2, Episode 1 & 2, Deathmatch (Good stuff bro. Just get the Orange Box.)
Nuclear Dawn (For you tactically minded folks with voice chat enabled, get this. No voice chat? Stay off my game.)
Portal & Portal 2 (Now you're thinking with portals. Good first person puzzle game.)
Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Expansion (Ye gods, the 4th one sucked, this had better not have been their swan song. I will be so pissed.)
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 (If you're good at micromanaging? You're good at this game.)
Evil Genius (Evil base simulator with some nice, tiny strategy bits to it? I don't know. It's just unique.)
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. (This was Ubisoft's swan song for the Splinter Cell series. Any Splinter Cell game made after this is either too glitchy or too poorly optimized to be worth the DRM.)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Dat stealth.)
Fable 3 (ADVENTURE TIME)
Fable: Lost Chapters (YE OLDE ADVENTURE TIME)
Super Crate Box (Like crack, only on steroids. Also, it's free.)
Super Meat Boy (You will lose your mind dieing over and over. But love it.)
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (I'm just waiting for the Morrowind remake in Skyrim's engine and detail level. The community is actually doing that. IT IS BEAUTIFUL.)
Orcs Must Die 2 (Smooth, cartoony... oh, gameplay? Right, that's good too. Not a bad story, may as well play the first one first. The DLC is okay, more maps is good.)
Mirror's Edge (Cutscene style, level design, platforming, just enough action...)

Without these games, your collection isn't really complete. But I'd also look into Left 4 Dead if you like zombie shooters, though it isn't necessary.

Avoid:
Dark Void
Buying any of the Modern Warfare games after you already own one of them.
Champions Online. Unless you're ready and willing to surrender your life to roleplay and character building.

Ragequit Count:
So far, I have made -->28<-- people ragequit in Ace of Spades and other games by general trolling, counter-camping, turning them into zombies, killing them with fall damage, playing their own "OP" class better than them, completely wrecking a specific player, and so on. Count updated as it happens.

Rarest Achievement Showcase

Ace of Spades -still- dominates my rarest achievements section. Why is it not even 1% of the player base has gotten these?

Why is it that all of my rarest achievements are from Ace of Spades? Isn't anyone any good at that game?
