One of the best modern "Metroidvania" games, all the more impressive for its very small production team, mostly one very talented man. Excellent game with a fantastic feel, tight controls, fun combat and smooth presentation. If you're even remotely interested in exploration platformers with rock solid combat, you should play Dust.

Solid little game with a good core. Shifting between ship controls and party controls took a bit of acclimation, but both are responsive and well done. Visuals are well crafted and appealing. It would have been nice to have tooltips in the boarding party store to know what I might be buying, and sometimes it's not obvious what to interact with, but other than that, this is a game I readily recommend, and it's remarkable that it's a student project.

Excellent implementation of a great card game. I only wish we could use the one game to play locally on more than one computer on a home network.

Smooth, fast, pretty, good controls, this is a solid game. If only I could turn the radio all the way off.

Early Access Review
OK, sure, the "game" aspects aren't as polished as a DiRT title, but this is the best sort of sandbox game to just goof around with. Between this and Minecraft, my family doesn't really need anything else.

Great game that scratched the Privateer/Freelancer itch for me like few other titles have since those classics. The quirks of being stuck to a 2D plane for gameplay are more than compensated for by the interesting "broadsides" style of combat (that can be bypassed with turret spam, should that be desired) and the nicely flowing overall play experience. The ability to sell gear and ships back for full price is brilliant, as it allows for experimentation and fun without being stuck with suboptimal choices.

Highly recommended, one of the very, very few games that I couldn't put down in the last decade.

An excellent twist on the standard match-3 gameplay. The original Puzzle Quest has a more robust design, but Galactrix's variable gravity makes for more interesting core gameplay.

My game time here doesn't show it, but I've played this game for easily a hundred hours back on the PS2. It's a quirky, weird game with a truly absurd King, but the gameplay is where it really shines. I've played sequels to this, as well as spiritual sequels like Hole.io, but this still stands as perhaps the best of the breed. (Not unlike Puzzle Quest, come to think of it... sometimes the first time really does work the best.) This is a game worth playing. It's weird, it's not perfect, but it's *fun*, and that is important.

Great game for exploration and general vehicular mayhem. Really miss the crash puzzle modes from Burnout Revenge, but this is still a blast to play.
