If you like Binding of Isaac Rebirth, there is a good chance you will like this! The game builds on the already sophisticated and fantastical style of Isaac but with more balance (i.e. Getting the holy grail of builds isn't an instant win like in Isaac as ammo conservation and boss invincibility frames is designed to make the player continue to think strategically.). The game has a fine sense of humor, with hardly one single gun pun undone (very fun!).

While the modding community isn't super active, there are still some nice QOL mods and one or two bigger overhaul still in the works.
