Great game.

I took on the role of Marty [insert lat name here] as he and his family went on vacation. Shortly into the trip I thought something was fishy. I soon discovered my wife was cheating on me and sleeping with the fishes. I dealt with her properly. Let's just say now she is sleeping with the fishes. From that moment on, I knew it would only be a matter of time before Crabby Law caught up with me. It wasn't long before I was caught in the pincers of justice thanks to some not-so-hardboiled officer. I was tried for murder and put in jail...where I very clearly belong!

This was one of the branching story paths that I experienced. A hilarious and surreal experience.

If you like Binding of Isaac Rebirth, there is a good chance you will like this! The game builds on the already sophisticated and fantastical style of Isaac but with more balance (i.e. Getting the holy grail of builds isn't an instant win like in Isaac as ammo conservation and boss invincibility frames is designed to make the player continue to think strategically.). The game has a fine sense of humor, with hardly one single gun pun undone (very fun!).

While the modding community isn't super active, there are still some nice QOL mods and one or two bigger overhaul still in the works.
