This is a niche game, it's almost entirely text based with the only visuals being maps and drawings of the location you are at (along with your inventory). However it's a very good blend of choose your own adventure and light RPG mechanics. There are a lot of choices that do have consequences although the details behind most gameplay mechanics are vague (you don't know exactly what your chance to hit an enemy is, or your chance to get away with a lie etc) but you generally get a feel for it as you continue playing. Overall, if you enjoy text based games, this is a great one, I really did enjoy my time with it.
