I had a conversation with a friend of mine recently about two different kinds of games, specifically with regards to concerns that this was one or the other type: a shallow game with bad UI making it seem deeper than it is or a deep intricate game with some UI problems. X4 is most definitely the latter. I have rarely encountered a game that does so much. The universe is deep, there are secrets and easter eggs that are only really hinted at by blurbs of text you have to almost find by accident in the encyclopedia, the economy systems are involved and interesting (albeit a little finicky; there are sooo many moving parts.) If you like intricate deep involved games, flying spaceships, getting blown up in spaceships, pirating spaceships, meddling in intergalactic politics, being a space tycoon, or really anything to do in space... this game is for you. I will warn anyone buying that the game is involved, complicated, and the initial curve can be a little steep but it is absolutely worth it. Plus the new version coming soon has new tutorials! So good timing and welcome to the X universe!

Early Access Review
This game is fantastic. It is definitely still in development but considering how rapidly updates come and given the geopolitical realities facing a company from Ukraine right now it's nothing short of astonishing to me the game is being completed at all. A built in bug reporting tool makes it super easy to pass along screenshots and any feedback necessary to the developers and the game itself already has so much to offer a player interested in naval warfare from 1890 to 1950. Highly recommend anyone interested in strategy games and/or naval warfare games pick this one up. It's terrific and only ever getting better all the time.

In my time so far with Cyberpunk 2077 I've definitely seen a number of glitches. I should say I am reviewing the PC version. I have also had a phenomenal time with the game. The world CD Projekt have created is phenomenal. I've rarely seen a city so full of life in a game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone on a PC.

There is no game like Kerbal Space Program. If you like building rockets and aircraft and engaging in a intense simulation that is so good it made NASA and the ESA reach out to get involved, this is your game. If you are afraid of failing a launch and unwilling to lose vessels to construction errors and flight errors, this is NOT the game for you. Fly Safe.

Early Access Review
This is a review of the game as it is at the time of Early Access. It's great. You should give it a shot. It has a lot of work still to be done; chiefly the implementation of character perks and traits that are in the game but not functioning at this time. The main reason I still say this game is great and should be given a shot is the pace that the developers are working out any bugs and implementing new features. I've never seen anything like it in my 20 years as a gamer. If you like strategy games, buy this game. If you like RPGs, buy this game.

I have read a lot of comments from people saying this game is not what they were promised at it's inception. After reading a lot of the stuff put out at it's release I think they are right. That being said I absolutely love this game. I have not played another game that balances the relatively "normal" world of hyenas and tigers and bears with the Conan world of giant serpents and animated skeletons. I played Medieval Engineers for a long time and have always adored Space Engineers but what those two games both generally lacked, especially Medieval Engineers, was a threat. Conan has that threat in spades. Add to that the complexity of it all and I am just blown away. I think there is a ridiculous amount of depth for the developers to expand on, systems that need polish and growth, but this is a solid fun game I recommend highly. I will say here the one thing I have found that holds me back and that is Tethering. I think I get why it's there but it is so obnoxious that my friend can't go out gathering resources while I work in camp. That aside and even with that in fact: Buy this game.

I waited 2 years for this game. I am not the least bit disappointed.

If you love Battletech.... well chances are you already own this game but if you don't then BUY IT!!!

If you know nothing about Battletech this is still a fantastic game. If you enjoy turn-based games you will enjoy this one.

Harebrained Schemes and Paradox, I can't thank you guys enough for this.

So far I'm loving this expansion. The rebalance on the economy makes it much more of a struggle to keep mineral production up than it was and the addition of Consumer Goods, essentially a tax on population, makes you have to think a lot more about how quickly to expand your empire. I'm sure I'll find more I love and some things I don't but so far so good!

I played this game when it first came out on disc and I absolutely loved it. It had all the depth and complexity of Baldur's Gate with all the steampunk elements I have always loved. After all these years it's still lost none of that. I'd recommend this game to anyone who loves a good story and especially to anyone who loves Steampunk.
