Heard bad things at launch, held off, tried after I got burned out on helldivers 2 with new update, and its quite a good game. If you liked Vermintide 1 or 2, you'll probably like this one. Has more vermintide 1 vibes than 2.

I really enjoyed this game until Sony started being Sony. I should have known better after what they did to Plantside 2.

Added I don't know how Arrowhead found their "community managers" but they must be friends of someone who does the hiring. I don't expect the community managers to be coddling or go "customer is always right" but I do expect them to be knowledgeable about what they are talking about.

They are not.

I'd like to not blame Arrowhead for Sony's boneheaded decision, but they did sign the papers.

Update: Sony decided they would lose more money than they gained by forcing the linking. I highly recommend this game, its fantastic.

Want a ARPG that's better than D4 ever will be, yet doesn't require a PhD in the game like POE? This is that game.

This if for VR.

Really quite good, some items are 2d sprites but it over all feels fantastic and being attacked by cannibals in VR at night has to be experienced rather than described.

Early Access Review
I'm not too often into survival games, but Valheim really does fantastic at making it feel real but not over doing the realism to the point its not fun. The only issue is its not done and I have a horrible feeling the early success may have ... er ... demotivated the dev team. I hope I'm wrong but its a fantastic game up until you run out of content, which will be many hours into your first play through.

It's still worth the money "as is" but I'd pay another $20 for them to continue in a heartbeat rather than waiting for who knows how long for real updates.

Ok game, I'll need another few 1000 hours to figure out if I really like it and want to invest my free time.

I've had this one sitting in my "will play eventually" pile and I just got around to it. Wish I did sooner, its a really nice aRPG, its a little like D1 and POE meet Warhammer 40k.

The voice acting is pretty good IMO, the story is fine (I haven't finished it yet but I like it so far), the random missions are nice to have, its got seasons and all the stuff you might want from an aRPG.

The only ironic thing is you are an "inquisitor" but you don't really play one, you play a space marine, imperial assassin, psycher, or tech priest. This is actually quiet good in terms of gameplay, but I never felt I was an Inquisitor.

But if you like aRPG's or you like 40k you will probably like this game. If you like both you WILL like this game.

Doesn't run on Windows 7, I missed that.

Very simple graphics hack lets it run without issue

Why they don't just do this officially I have no idea. I'm switching to Windows 10 when they pry 7 out of my cold dead hands.

Otherwise game is good so far, its like X wing Vrs Tie and you gave a gender studies major the job of character personalization. If you are a white male and feel the need to identify with your character, unless you are pretty low T you own't find one, I'm still not sure if the blonde one is male or female, the other is a hipster. Plus side one of the black ones looks like a discount Morgan Freeman so thats good.

P.S. If you need the fix for Win7 google the error code and the steam forum post will show up where it is.

I was never into Warhammer. like at all, but got Vermintide because of so many good reviews. Played the hell out of that one for hours and hours, got to elite levels and am glad to see V2 is continuing the trend with a addictive 4 way coop that has a lot of room for skill growth but still manages to be playable for newbies.

If you get this I recommend you use the voice chat, it will help you learn to play better as you can ask questions if something is unclear and it will also help populate your friends list with people you like to play with later on.
