I genuinely don't remember the last time something I had been looking forward to for a while came out, I bought it instantly, sat down with it, and didn't get up until I was done. Now if you'll excuse me, oof ow my bones.

A classic RTS in every sense of the word - one of the countless floods of Command & Conquer and Warcraft 2 clones with a fantastical world, weird monsters, brain-dead AI and horrendous pathfinding, but also a few unique things like technology theft and a resource system that makes only your buildings cost anything. It's bad. I love it.

Very competent and satisfynig soulslike, if maybe on the easy side due to the power and mobility of your weapons. Very fond of its "active reload" stamina system equivalent.

Starring the himbo-est, most likeable h-game protagonist ever.

Very charming - sure, it's a bit simple and infantile at times, but a pleasant enough experience and sometimes that's just what you want.

One of the all-time favorite joint acitvities of my gaming group.
