So essentially I ended up getting matched up in a rank A pug as a C/C player and here's what I learned:
1. Rank A Players play at a very fast pace and execute strats without saying anything (they expect you to be competent.)
2. Rank A Players have R E A L L Y good aim. Aim duels were essentially impossible given my current skill set.
3. Rank A Players can be toxic but most of the time pretty reasonable.
4. Rank A Players (at least these ones) were willing to teach me some new tricks to help me play competently against the higher level players.
5. Most of the time Rank A Players play a very aggressive style or the "PUGSTAR" style of play. This is common in C but not played as well.
What are your thoughts on this, and what else do you think low elo players can learn from playing in high elo games?
from one fellow fem boner to another, i salute you.
