At first glance I didn't think much of this game, but it did seem like something I would be into. Little did I know this game would be so great. This game as a dungeon crawler / death run would seem like it would be based off of some good luck to win, but honestly you can make up for bad luck with careful planing and some skill and it's far from just another card game, you can think of the cards more like a spell book where you can pick what spells you want to have rather than going on the luck of the draw.
