Opinion on Certain Games

Apex Legends

The core of gameplay of Apex Legends, movement and aim is executed flawlessly. Movement has an abundant amount of tech, with a learning curve that varies immensely, such that a novice could instantly and consistently do. Other movement tech could take hundreds of hours to achieve complete mastery. Aiming in Apex is extremely satisfying and feels amazing. Recoil is really easy across every single gun, although it shouldn't really be an issue due to recoil smoothing and jitter aiming existing. The fun ends here.

Ranked
I don't even know why it's called ranked, it's completely meaning less due to how the ranked system works. Developers actively attempt to make masters rank (second highest rank) attainable to the average player, or at least assumes they are able to reach it. Certain apex predator players are able to kill half the lobby collectively, and drop 20 kills while doing over 6000 damage solo at the highest rank. Master ranked players and so horrible it's unbelievable, they lack every thing that a ranked gamemode should require, positional awareness, map knowledge, rotation, ability usage and more. Developers the main reason why master players suck, they aren't making lower ranks challenging enough. Therefore causing all average players to end up in masters ruining the competitive environment. The requirement for reaching masters is very minimal (according to ApexLegendsStatus over 25% of the player base is masters and counting). Majority of the players that eventually reach masters will hit a MASSIVE wall, due to them lacking in every single department skill wise that a ranked gamemode should require. When I encounter a 3 stack (while solo queueing) with a high understanding of the game, my random teammates will die INSTANTLY because they aren't at an adequate understanding of the game, they'll just be overwhelmed with information (due to them making too many mistakes) causing them to learn nothing as to why they died. Most master players after dying many times over instantly to players leagues above them in skill level would just quit playing ranked, leading it to die mid season. In short, ranked is essentially glorified pubs, even at the highest rank. Solo queueing ranked, boring. 3 Stacking with good players in ranked is mind numbingly repetitive and boring unless you're messing around 24/7 (although I can't talk from experience...). I mainly play pubs with very little ranked played (99% of my ranked games I solo or duo queued very rarely did I 3 stack), although I did solo 4 accounts in season 14 to master in split 1, but got burned out and didn't play the other split.

Controller
Aim assist.

Miscellaneous

Apex has a HUGE issue with visual clutter, which also helps magnify how strong aa is because aa doesn't account for visual clutter.

Rust

Rust is an amazing and unique game. I haven't really played much rust after the recoil change, but since the recoil update, I feel that game sense has become 10x more important because everyone can triple headshot anyone now. I mainly miss old recoil because with the new recoil I find it super easy to outplay 99% of the server 99% of the time. Yes I could still do this with old recoil but the difference is the gun selection that was available with old recoil, pretty much any gun I picked up I could delete people with. Since the recoil update I feel way more restricted in my gun choices. I don't get the option to run an mp5 only, because the recoil update completely ruined smgs for long range and mid range. You can no longer consecutively headshot people that are 200m away anymore with mp5 or any other smg. Smgs have literally become close range only, yes I know that's the reason it's classified as an smg, still I can't just have it taken away and not end up missing it. Another reason I don't like the recoil update is the fact that recoil is now the easiest thing in the world, compared to what it was, you don't even need to practice the current rust recoil you just hop on and you can already triple anyone from a majority of distances, but that can also count as a good thing, because now there isn't a learning curve to using guns, therefore making the game more noob friendly. Forgetting the recoil update I think that the majority of the updates that rust is getting is absolutely amazing.
