so... the some areas of the game is good. currently a lot of content to do, gameplay feels pretty good. pve combat feels pretty nice. running around and doing quests and getting rewards feels very satisfying probably the best ive ever felt in any game. so.... why the negative review? i really dont understand how we are in the year 2024 and we STILL have these big problems:

- pvp combat feels clunky and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
- the spell readability is horrible
- NO AUSTRALIAN SERVERS...............

when i say no australian servers, there is in fact a JP - OCE server but aussies are getting around 220 ping... so does it really count? do these companies out there just believe australia/new zealand are just meme countries with 0 playerbase or something? ♥♥♥ tilting. but to add the primary point of my actual frustration is that WoW is almost 20 year old game, ive been playing US servers the entire time from australia with zero complaints of lag in all areas of pve/pvp content. its also the same kind of combat style where you tab single target etc... have i ever felt like i cant do everything i want in WoW because of my ping playing on US servers? no. but god forbid these other modern MMOs coming out just cant figure it out can they. lost ark was the same situation but the pvp combat and spell readability felt 10x better, myself playing on a NA server at the time was able to hold my own confidentially in pvp and do all the hard raids just fine. BDO pvp combat even felt better and thats saying something. what was the thought process behind making the game look super pretty but then also have potentially hundreds of people on screen in pvp..? its a great idea on paper but executed horribly.. it lags the ♥♥♥♥ out of anyone and im running a ♥♥♥ 4090 with 64gb of ram, why didnt they just dial back the graphics just a tad? players would prefer having a smooth enjoyable experience versing other players over being cucked by fps lag. if you are trying to do this content (which is 95% of the end game) on a ping of like 300 like me, well... tough ♥♥♥♥ i guess. enjoy being shat on by dylan with the comfortable 5 ping who is also probably swiping lmao
