First off yes I recommend this game. However, there is the good the bad and the ugly.
The good - it's addictive (if that's good - ask my wife and she will tell another tale) there is lots to do with seemingly a never ending amount of quests and adventures. A lot of the landscape is really good and I like the way the skills and crafting works, I like the fact there is a bank and it would be even better if you got interest :P the provisioning skill is really good as well and a good way to make gold.
The bad - The AI of most of the RPGs is terrible and they can randomly stop combat go back to the starting position and get full health again which is very annoying. Just in general the AI and the lack of conversation of RPG is very bad, it really dates the programming but you would think they have had time to fix this, just feels very wooden.
The ugly - Server down time is frequent and takes a day yet you will not get the daily reward. A lot of the RPG look the same, very lazy game design. Avatar creation is very poor and you are very limited on how your player will look, there needs to be a lot more options, just randomise a avatar and you will see they are all just plain ugly. Again this means that if you have 2 nords for example it is very hard to get their faces not to look the same, this BS obviously spilled over into RPCs. I think mods should be aloud that can alter the real world interaction and look of players and RPGs, my Skyrim looks and feels 500x better than ESO ffs
