Totally not worth wasting your time on this game if you haven't played it in its ''golden age''. If you are a new player it's most likely you'll find this game boring, repetitive and unbalanced.
If you have played this game before, then you know how bad it is. Well, get surprised, because the Steam version is even worse.
Now, I'm gonna talk about the Universalis server. After Metin2 merged the severs together because the lack of players, they decided it's A REALLY GOOD IDEA to make another server (mostly to milk the last cent out of this dying community). The economy for the Universalis server went to sh1et, everything is over priced and there aren't that many players compared to other official servers.
Also, same old problems with hackers and spam bots. Nobody gives anything about the hackers spamming the chat with their links. I've seen bots with a Friendly and above rank that have been spamming the chat over and over. Where are the admins? Typically just logging in once a week, spam some metins in the desert and then going offline.
The community is pure toxic. Pretty much everyone I've met on that server (and every other metin2 server as well) will scam you the moment they have a chance. Either that, or being complete a$sholes and spam you with their stupid insults

I really love this game, but it seems it keeps getting worse and worse. No point playing pay-to-win official servers. Private servers are a lot better, especially when it comes to gameplay and features.

just wanted to change the negative review from years ago to a positive one, as the game changed a lot and it's much more enjoyable now

Bought it for 2 cents, what should I expect?

One of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games on Steam. After it takes one and a half hour to update, it doesn't even run.

It's all nice, funny and calming.. until people die of starving.

The graphics of this game are somehow better than the animation of the anime ( it sounds weird ). Well, for all weeaboos out there who are fans of Naruto, I recommend this game. Really, buy it. Now ! The gameplay is really nice, even if you use a keyboard instead of a controller... So, grab it while it's on sale and smash Sakura's face ! It worths all the money !

I raged so many times when I was playing the Hardcore game for the Lion Skeleton. Now I'm in Top 3 .
Okay, enough with the bragging. This game's really awesome, it has a large selection of weapons, even skeletons and cars ( how cool is that ? ) I really want to see how this game will look in a few years ( I hope they'll add more rocket-launchers ) . I really recommend this game to people who want to know how things work and how are they looking inside.

Well, the soundtrack is pretty good

Okay, everyone out there says this game is really awesome, bla bla
It looks like a re-skin of Counter-Strike : Source. It has the same over-rated weapons, such as AWP, AK-47 and M4.
The armor doesn't help you too much, really, you can easily get killed by a single bullet to the head.
Same issues like Source and 1.6 : you shoot 100 bullets at someone, he doesn't die ; he shoots a single bullet, boom, y'are dead
You'd better save your money for another game, I'd rather recommend Battlefield than this game

This game is really funny, especially when you kill your teammates with the meteor shower spell.
The only bad thing about this game is that sometimes, the rounds are too short...
