It is sometimes very stable, other times not. I've been working with Fraxis to figure it out, the fault lies in DX12's shader cache, doing a disk cleanup of the cache seems to solve it , at least for a few hours.

Yo Thero... that i saw a good review of civ... obviously i like it... but i can't give them a good review on a title that they haven't been able to make without crashing since civ 5... just normal no mods, settings within what they give us. and cannot finish a game. on overpowered pcs. restart after crash but eventually after repeating the same turns all day and getting nowhere you don't finish that round.... right? or did you review after playing like a small map on low diff?
I'm honestly super curious how anyone could give a good review on that game. Again... love it's conept and all but when someone delivers cool stuff that breaks immediately... and we payed for it... and they'll ask us to pay for more later... we gotta give them ♥♥♥♥ for shipping these builds with constant crash to desktop. because we wuv dem
