I can proudly say that Stardew Valley was and still is a good game that is evolving every year. Made by one single developer. A lot of work, patience and passion from one man dad that made everything from the sprite sheets to the coding itself, the story and many more other components.


The game is based on the concept "from 0 to hero". You start as a farmer that comes from "The City" and you take a chance on your grandpa's farm - land that has been left to decay throughout the years.

The game teaches people that we should all try to take part of a small community and enjoy "a better life", in comparison with modern society, where everybody looks, feels, talks like a robot. You become friends with everyone in the town, later on you make a family and you end the game by helping out the community or, the evil ending, you help Joja Corporation.


For a beginner, the game seems harsh and rusty, but after you get behind that madness, you realize that the game is mysterious and wholesome on every level. The concept "From 0 to hero" is incredible in this game because you have so many things to do: Fishing, Farming, Foraging, Mining, Cooking and more. After you master all the skills in the game you get more crafting recipes and you automate your farm

You become a member of "The Village" by giving gifts to the people and they give you gifts back. You start from "a stranger" to "the farmer" which gives the wholesomeness aspect to the game. You can have a girlfriend and then a kid. Unfortunately the kid can't do much... besides from walking around the house.


You will usually meet gamers that enjoy the simplicity of gaming - that I can say. Occasionally, you will meet players like me that play even games like Counter Strike, Fallout, Dying Light, Cities Skylines - games that involve more action and less simplicity.

There's also a MODDING COMMUNITY that's almost the same, most of the mods are reskins that look pretty good and some mods that add new crops, new "stuff" to the game that make it even better. The mods are uploaded on https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley


I recommend buying this game. It's great, it's chill and it's beautiful.
