In hopes of countering the review bombing, I'll give my two cents.

It's been pretty damn fun, even as a solo. There are times where the game definitely feels F2P but also times when it exceeds that expectation.

Things you've gotta know going in: There are seasonal wipes (about 6 weeks), similar to a Rust soft wipe, and content progression is gated behind weekly phases. This means casual and new players won't fall far behind, but it's likely you will hit the wall and have to wait for the next phase if you rush content.

There's no P2W for now, but it's a real possibility it goes that way if they can't make money.

It's still rough around the edges with bugs, voice acting, UI and the translations, but the community is very vocal and the studio seems to care enough to make swift changes for launch. I hope the game continues in a direction that justifies supporting it financially.

Very likely to cut development and run with the success of it's release. The game is fun despite the many, many bugs, but I highly doubt there will be any significant updates or continued development of their "roadmap". I hope to be wrong, but we'll see if Pocketpair breaks the Early Access trend.

A gem that has yet to have it's time to shine.

As promised, Due Process delivers a much-needed aspect of procedural generation to maps that keep them familiar, but different every time. Where as other FPS games you spend hours to learn meta, map-specific strategies like wall-bangs, line-ups, etc, Due Process gives everyone an even-footing in every game. I can't wait for more maps to be released and see what's in store.

Buyer's beware, the playerbase is small currently.

In it's current state, the game is a tedious headache. Starting with the tutorial, it does little in way of teaching new players how to play besides basic movement, hitting rocks and disassembling ships, therefore the chat is flooded with the same questions all day. The game is currently incredibly unoptimized; meaning crashes every session and large stutters even on the lowest graphic settings. Your ship can be completely bricked for no reason, or you can run into problems you'll have no idea how to diagnose and fix.

The gameplay currently consists of flying out, gathering ores to either craft with or sell to upgrade/purchase a ship, look at the wiki, rinse & repeat. I am not entirely interested in the ship-building since there's little to no documentations besides an incredible verbose and technical wiki, and it seems 90% of the time is spent troubleshooting. I am happy to simply buy pre-built ships, but the previews for these ships do not load in, nor does the test flight feature work, leaving me to rely on the descriptions given which range from empty to providing cargo space and top speed.

The game has a lot of potential but right now it's a complete mess that boils down to floating in space for hundreds of hours, hitting rocks to then scratch your head over how building works and then breaking your ship and trying to fix it.

Easy to pick up, hard to put down. The charming, pop-up book art style and storyboard comics are a refreshing approach to this genre. Despite it's simplicity, the options that you get to choose and the development of the board gives it an interesting twist each play through.

Hope to see more content for Wildermyth and future releases from Worldwalker Games!

Northgard plays like a barebones 4X RTS which ultimately lacks in replayability and content - at least for now. Hopefully the major updates will make it a more diverse and interesting game, but currently it's a game with a lot of charm that falls off quick. I'd hold out on buying this until the major faction updates.

RAGNAROK UPDATE: Still not that good.

Vagante is a hidden gem of a game that stays true to it's challenge, holds a lot of charm and delivers endless replayability.
The best part? Active community development.

All just in Early Access.

The artwork and music in Halycyon 6 go great together, but the story and dialogue are lacking and often don't even take themselves seriously - which I think is a big deal for an RPG.

The gameplay can be pretty accurately described as a turn-based RPG operating with a very basic 4X strategy format.

I'm not a huge fan of turn-based combat so after becoming uninterested in the story and the characters I dropped the game.
