Started the Souls series with Dark Souls 2 on 360, the only reason I got it was because I was waiting to build my new gaming PC and wanted something to hold me over. I didn't know I would absolutely fall in love.

The best, most responsive and varied combat system in any game I have played my whole life. The variety of weapons and move sets in this game is immense, and thats not even including magic or spells!

The level design is genius, the levels remind me of Zelda but evolved by lightyears. They are breathtaking to view, and extremely dense. You always find something new when you venture out, though for some reason it's easy to keep from getting lost because of the landmarks of the enviorment (giant clock towers, statues, castles, burning trees, etc).

And the lore is extremely rich, though can be a bit confusing if jumping in to the series with Dark Souls 3.

There has never been an RPG of this scale, in terms of level design, combat and lore.

Then finally, the challenge is its best aspect. The feeling of accomplishment and mastery from overcoming a tough area or boss is so satisfying, and the game rewards you richly for your efforts with new weapons and items.

10/10, a must have. Also have to mention it is very well optimized for a PC port!
