Corpse Party is a pixelated horror game that has seen many different versions and releases during the years.
Originally released as a short game in 1996 it got reworked, expanded and released in 2008 as the version most people know and love today.

Like most games like this It includes a lot of reading and puzzles, and it might even be something of an acquired taste.
Its not really much about gameplay and more about an interesting story and a great atmosphere.
It might have some frustrating moments but in the end its worth it.
This game is mainly just reading, walking thru different rooms, examining things and solving puzzles. So if you want a action packed game this is not really it. Its a good game to sit down with on a lonely night and just experiencing the story while sucking up the atmosphere, and hopefully getting spooked along the way

The psp version of Corpse Party will always hold a special place in my heart but this is best version of Corpse Party so far.
It looks amazing and has all the images and audio from the psp version.
It also includes 16 extra chapters and even though most extra chapters aren't anything special it's still a good addition, and 2 of these extra chapters are brand new which is a cool addition. (even if 1 of them is terrible)
You also get access to an "Achievements Art Book" which is also a nice addition and worth a look if you are a long time fan of the series.

I am 100% biased in this review since this game is very near and dear to my heart and i have a hard time to overlook nostalgia but if it sounds interesting to you i would highly recommend it, and if you already played the game a long time ago and want to replay it on pc this is by far the best version you are going to get.
