We've all wanted a one-stop-shop to launch our Jackbox games from for years; Which makes the Mega Picker's current state even more upsetting.

To be fair its presented beautifully. The visual polish makes the application feel very professional; But the way games are organized is unintuitive, certain time estimations are incorrect (such as Drawful Animate being listed as a 15 minute game) and there's no way only show games that support your current player count.
However as a PC game, the most annoying thing is that when you launch a game, it will open a new window instead of migrating the current one. On console this wouldn't be a big deal but the reality is that if you're playing Jackbox on PC, you're very likely streaming to your friends. So on something like Discord, if you're streaming the Picker, you have to stop streaming that, then change the target application to be the new window that opened.

Every pack needed to be updated to even support this application (7's in particular being almost half a gig) and they have broke many of the games in numerous ways; Certain games such as Zeeple Dome break the second you start a round; While others will not play certain host lines or crash unexpectedly. As an aside, the Picker itself won't even open for me at all anymore. I hate giving the studio a negative review, and will absolutely change this review if all these issues are addressed; But I can't recommend the Mega Picker as it currently is.

EDIT: A player count filter was added (albeit in a bit of an out-of-the-way location) and the launcher itself seems to have no bugs now which is great. However there is still no window migration which, to me and my other friends who often stream over Discord, is the most obvious omission of the picker. I realistically can't see myself booting the picker up much if it's going to open separate windows.

They should have just hired the people who made Jack's Trunk, which does the same thing...
