So good I bought it twice.

If Poker and Solitaire had a kid, and that kid took it personally when his parents told him they don't use Jokers in their games.
Then grew up dating girls who were into astrology and tarot reading.
That's Balatro.

I played P2/3/4 in high school and I loved those games, and maybe because I'm older now but P5 just doesn't feel like a better game than its predecessors. It definitely looks better, the game feels like it had most of its production value poured into the UI and style of the game, because the story pacing is bad, the villains aren't that good (except maybe Madarame), its missing camaraderie events, and Koromaru being a literal dog had more likable personality than Morgana, let alone Teddie.
I've tried multiple times to enjoy the game (I own the original CE on PS4) and its just difficult for me to enjoy the game after a certain length, meanwhile - I've played P4 and P4G multiple times and enjoyed it every time, to the point where I 100% it on Vita and on Steam.

In the current year where fighting games put too much into 1 button, Strive is still one of the better modern fighters out.

I was hesitant at first because the artwork is very ESG since they are based in California. Weird self-insert of one of the devs as an NPC, made me cringe at first.

Still a solid game underneath.

Trying to like it, but right now the trailer for this game is better than the actual game.

Still one of the best roguelites out there
