Does what Payday 3 couldn't with one hand tied behind its back.

This truck will take some self discipline to prevent destroying the game balance, being an 8x8 heavy available from the get-go.

However I recommend it for anyone tackling barren locales like Kola Pennensula, where merely having it in my arsenal gives me the confidence to venture other vehicles beyond my comfort zone; The Mastodon makes one helluva trump card of a tow truck.

It is not without its own faults, as its turning radius rivals that of your average tugboat, disorienting forward control, unbelievably fragile suspension, and it can get hopelessly stuck very quickly by being DIFF Lock'd at all times (which can bury your entire axles faster as opposed to just a wheel) and needs a dedicated support vehicle to operate modest distances from the garage, especially fuel.

Features dedicated support for the firefighting season, in the form of a proprietary water tank.

May be abandoned by Valve and hidden, its still important this exists so that you can use the assets in Garry's Mod.

Chuzzle Deluxe a bit different than I remember

10 minutes of gameplay but still an interesting diversion.

Excruciatingly confusing layout, and the highest team dysfunction (griefing) potential of any heist in the game. Highly advise against it unless you absolutely want the consequential content involved, such as the Doug Dimmadome hat --- which you have to unlock with a convoluted 2 person minimum puzzle.

Look, I may not be the best navigator but in a time-sensitive escape mission its customary to guide players out of the crumpled up paper bag you've lured them into. Especially in the context of an oil rig where everything looks the same no matter which direction you're looking.

I wandered into the oil sample room during the boss fight looking for my way out, when the escape triggered I had no idea how to get out of the room.
Furthermore I could not find my way into that room again when I needed to for the actual objective.

These maps are getting too big and too convoluted to not have a compass and a multi-level GPS on HUD.

The griefing potential on this map is catastrophic. All you have to do to sabotage the lobby is not find your way out at the end. Run off alone and get downed, they even encourage you to do so with the dumbass secret loot vault. Or even just have multiple people trying to solve the pipe puzzle at the same time winding up with 3 people going in different directions and you have to trace the damn pipe 50 times or kick the people just trying to help.

I'm glad this is the final heist because Overkill have forgotten what plays well in a lobby full of random people.
As the last heist it does absolutely nothing to send the game off, for that matter. I was teased a cataclysm that would set the stage for the interim between Payday 2 and 3. Didn't get nothing but "just another heist"

Buyer beware most of the content in here is currently BROKEN in many different ways many underwhelming hotfixes later.

The vanilla optics such as Milspec Scope now share the same piggyback functionality as most of the DLC optics in here with higher quality, and if you have Gage Spec Ops you already have secondary sights up the wazoo.

Go from toilet manufacture to weapons R&D and then an assassin, all without leaving your desk even once.

Early Access Review
Perceive this game as you would Goat Simulator, in that its a game made to be fun or silly, not fill a role or outdo something. This is one of those pet project games where the developer uses this as a sort of outlet to create whatever they want or can pull off while learning as much as they can about game development.

Unlike a game where you have a task and they only add things that contribute to that task,
this dev or devs have complete control and authority over what they throw into the game; including but not limited to projectile turds, bug eyes, nuclear killer rabbits, and cheap blow up dolls dotting the rest stops and abandonned houses gratuitously long road the game is based around during an aparent gratuitous apocalypse taking place in the 1980's.

There was once a time videogames didn't need to make an ounce of sense, the writing was formed around the gameplay; this game is no different.... well except that you can violently ♥♥♥♥ your pants while doing 120mph down a mountain in a classic working-class eastern-european automobile.

Imagine "that one kid" in your highschool class -- with all the teenage humor that entails --- who really liked cars making a videogame and throwing whatever else he could program into it. That's this.
Its not made to outdo anything, its not made to fill a role, its made to be a fun and weird just because it can be.

This is pretty much Goat Simulator part 2.
The hype was big, the only thing bigger was the level itself.
Minimum playtime for Midland Ranch is on average over 30 minutes. Everything is long and drawn out and theres not much in place to remind you why you're really here doing what, like most of Locke's contracts.

Its an exceedingly large map with next to 0 sniper spawns ----- because they are replaced mostly with US Marshals: low powered Sniper units that filter through the normal rank and file on the ground.

The goals are hazy and require covering almost every inch of the map just to get 5% done if playing solo. You have about 3-4 barns each almost indistingusihable from the other from the inside, causing me to get lost very frequently even after 4 plays.

Lets touch on that for a minute. This level is very vast and has multiple areas and even golf carts to traverse it with.
This seems to encourage players to split up which is a terrible thing to train players to do if this is the first heist they join into. Even if its not conscously encouraged that is what happens 90% of the time because with such an open area and multiple tasks to complete, everyone is inevitably going to have thier own ideas of what should be done first, and are very unlikely to trust your judgement and follow you to one you're doing.

This is boring and easy to get lost in, objectives are arbitary with locke saying "We're here we might as well do this thing for no reason" even though they can just simply rebuild the workbenches you destroy from any hardware store. Yet you cannot progress in the mission at all until you've placed every single C4 which falls to the responsibility to whomever picks it up off the table, additional C4 cannot be acquired.

Playing offline solo is absolutely unpleasant on anything higher than normal because you're going to get burned out a quarter of the way just trying to find your way to the next objective.

If you do not have human friends to play with you will not enjoy this, the bots compound the drudging you will do trying to navigate the map. If you are expecting this to be a hiest you can replay multiple times you will be mistaken. This is like Big Oil where you do it once and usually avoid it later on because you don't rememeber having fun.
And all you're doing is building some AK17 rifles that you may already own on workbenches that anyone can easily softlock by scattering the contents to other workbenches. The golf cart can get stuck almost permanently within 6 feet of its spawn area, and it is somehow FASTER than the Longfellow, with wihhc you're trying to navigate a very tight arena.

I want to refund this but I waited too long. I don't see myself enjoying this casually. The stakes and time investment are too high for too little reward.

A love story to Chris Sawyer's Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, it plays very much like it and does its best to feel just like it so that veterans of that game can quickly ace this one. Features near identical mechanics, and even offers isometric view but with many more features made available by being true 3D.

Pricey for what you get compared to RCT2 at 30 bucks two 8-dollar DLC each that seem to only add a few basic cosmetic things, I would say if you're strapped for cash but want the same game go head for the original RCT2 with the triple thrill, but if you're burnt out on RCT2 looking for something fresher with the same gameplay and indie 3D graphics, then try to find this one on sale.

It has workshop support which lets you download rides and mods.
Features support for custom music and image billboards, and yes, you can kill guests just like RCT2 in this game for all your sadistic pleasure.
