My GOTY 2024. Very good optimization for the quality of graphics and incredibly fun and novel combat mechanics. Mostly very well made bosses. The equipment customization and numerous build possibilities allow for great customization, from glass cannons to tanks. Only criticisms being some bosses (especially 4/6 end-of-chapter bosses) have unfun/cheese gimmicks to them that leave a "finally this is over" rather than "what a great boss" feeling at the end of the fight. After completing all achievements a few are more annoying than others- particularly gathering seeds (complete rng) 3 curios that require farming plants (limited time gated resources) with more rng; and a few armor pieces which are random enemy drops. Also an armor set/weapon that requires almost 2 full playthroughs to fully craft (for seemingly no reason). Overall worth every penny spent. Highly recommended for anyone who has ever enjoyed a soulslike

An incredibly original, fun, and intuitive puzzle game with amazing visual elements. Yes, the dialogue at the beginning of the game is incredibly annoying, but you can always mute dialogue until around the midpoint of chapter 2. It took me around 7 hours to 100% the game without any guides apart from niche collection achievements.

Fantastic sequel to the original. Boss fights are MUCH better than the original and are no longer just parkour levels. Gameplay feels more smooth and consistent compared to GR1. Only complaints being the game is not as optimized currently as GR1, and the story feels short for a $40 price tag (took me about 9 hours to complete the story the first time, and another 7 to 100% the game).

Shorter than I had hoped, but changes many of the fundamental movement and combat mechanics, giving a much different experience. It took me about 3 hours to complete it the first time, and go back to find all of the collectibles and get all achievements. Great lore exposition if you're into that too.

Amazing rhythm with a beautiful art style. I'd recommend playing the entire game in one sitting (only takes about an hour).

Only negative is the achievements are a pain, if you're looking to 100% it.

Currently unplayable for me. Cannot find an all-out warfare gamemode without vehicles and players consistently rubber-banding every few seconds. I was gifted this and still feel scammed.

An innovative mix between the games Mirror's Edge and Super Hot. Amazing game play mechanics that never felt boring along with an amazing soundtrack. The narrative wasn't amazing, but doesn't need to be. The better cyberpunk game of 2020. The entire game is not very long, and at the time of writing this review (with 14.4 hours played) I have gotten all achievements/100% the game. If paying $30 USD for about 15 hours of playtime is not worth it to you, I would wait for a sale. Nonetheless I would highly recommend purchasing GhostRunner.

I just recently finished getting all achievements, otherwise I would've recommended this about 300 hours sooner. Red Dead 2 is my favorite game of all time. The narrative outshines almost every game ever created. The first and likely only video game to make me cry from the story telling.
