If you ever played the classic Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver on the original PlayStation or Dreamcast consoles, then you know what an amazing game it is. You know that the story is engaging, the dialogue is intelligent, the twists and turns are surprising and even heartbreaking. This IS that game, it has not lost a single iota of its original charm, it just *looks better* and plays VERY smoothly. The first PC ports for Soul Reaver were wonky and unpredictable, this is butter smooth and oh so nostalgic. If you *haven't* played any of the Soul Reaver games (when I speak of THE Soul Reaver games, I mean Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, and Legacy of Kain: Defiance - the three games that feature Raziel as a protagonist) then do yourself a favor and pick up this remaster. Worth every penny.
