This game could be worse, but ultimately there's too many Quality-of-Life aspects missing for it to be a worthwhile game even though its a great concept. I can see the possibility of it being good, but as of right now this game is not. I only played this game for an hour and decided to close it because it became such a drag to play so quick. This is just tough love for the devs because I do see the idea they're going for. Ultimately, it was $6 on sale which was less than I spent on my coffee before playing this game.

The personality and tone for some of the dialogue is great, and definitely adds a human element that I really enjoy. (I clicked a body that was crucified in a town and it gave me a tip, I thought that was funny)

The UI is tiresome. Why would you make a game about trading stuff, then make me click through multiple windows just to remind myself what resources a town needs? Why are the items that a town needs all just slapped into a string that doesn't help me at all? Just comes off as unfinished tbh. Please for the love of god reel in the amount of dialogue pop-ups or just standardize their style so I'm not constantly closing one after the other.

I'd also recommend taking some time to draw more relevant character pictures for characters than just copy-paste anime characters, they're very out of place. Like, why is there an anime character in a suit and tie, with a lawyer profession in a post-apocalyptic game?

The pacing is all over the place, it's a game about driving long distances, but you're constantly bombarded with text dialogue about events that can have actual detrimental effects to your characters. This gets to a point where you don't even retain any info thats being plastered on your screen because it's legit overwhelming.

Here's an experience I had within my first hour of my playthrough: My first character gets too stressed after stopping through a few towns, no worries. I let him sleep in an inn that costs 100 scrap per character because regular sleeping while traveling doesn't reduce stress, cool whatever. Stress goes down maybe 25%, then shoots back up within 10 seconds of traveling again, kind of annoying. You can also reduce stress by "getting frisky" (what???) with strangers you meet at the bar, which is a core mechanic of the game for some reason. Cool, I'll bite. So I drive town to town trading and sleeping at inns, hoping to find someone to slam because my character is going insane, and while driving my character has a breakdown and takes half the health away from my vehicle and destroys a bunch of ♥♥♥♥.

On a positive note, the core mechanic of actually traveling, weather mechanics, and the dynamics of the vehicle are really well done and I genuinely like that aspect of the game.

All in all, it just needs more polish and QoL features before this game is worth the effort. I'll hold onto it instead of refunding, but the dev's got their work cut out for em on this one.

This game is my hustle. I watch the cookie stock market rise and fall, while i wait for the next golden cookie to appear. I wait for the 7x production boost, and around 3/4 of the way through another will appear, if not I use Force the Hand of Fate on the Wizard Tower Grimoire to get another golden cookie to appear to gamble and get the 777x multiplier for active clicking, then using Godzamok (which buffs boost clicks for every building sold for 10 seconds) on the Temple Pantheon I sell over 600 buildings as quick as I can for a 600% boost on every click, totaling a click multiplier of 32,634. For every. single. click. I've generated weeks worth of CpS in 10 seconds. Crinkus P. Crankus' bakery only cost me $5.00 and gave me more dopamine than any drug possibly could.

Played a little with the Arenanet client thats why hours are low, just a heads up you DO have to buy the $30 DLC if you want to use mounts (which once you use one you'll never want to go back). Other than that, really the only MMO that's been engaging and fun for a non-MMO player.

"The developers describe the content like this:

You kill things, eat corpses, equip organs, but it's all very low-res and low-poly"

This is facts, do not expect anything more, you will not find it here. I waited months for this game to release and it is awesome for what it is, especially for what the dev team consists of. If you complain about the price then you clearly did not read the description or watch the trailer and that is on you. I wish there was a little more depth and a few less bugs, but i will not refund it for the sole purpose of supporting this developer and what they bring to the table. You should do the same.

simple, but core game mechanics are solid. intuitive enough to learn from mistakes and do better. you get a real sense of progression in a short time and i like that. I'm also a sucker for games you can play with one hand. Cops can be a little annoying even when their presence is at "Low" or even "Very Low" which can hinder it at points. Overall $4/5 because its literally $4.

For two hours before the game was over i was the epitome of crime, i cornered the market on any organ you wanted. I was the go-to guy. I worked with necromancers, soldiers, idiots who screamed really loud so they needed new lungs, everyone. I started with nothing and became the gold-standard for organs. All of that, all of those accomplishments, and i still fell for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nigerian prince scam

sleeping frogs is a game about crashing into everything in sight on the road just to do a mission about doing karaoke, sleeping with a girl once then deleting her number off of your phone, and getting half of your health bar houdini'd by the grappler enemies. screaming dogs is kind of like if you went on AliExpress and searched for GTA 4 and took the first pick, they even have the voice actor for the duck father from Kung Fu panda and his name is Po as well (didn't fact check don't care). Howling Birds hits all the big areas for me (fighting chickens, left clicking and occasionally pressing E to counter, and hating my day job), the mechanics are like if you outsourced them to mobile game developers but they debugged it really well. there are still bugs every once in a while, only encountered 2 in my 14 hour fever dream of returning statues to a random kung fu sensei and bowing to random shrines for health boosts. Leaping Logs does a lot of things but never specifically hits anything super well, the characters are well written but are purely to service the plot and found it hard to truly feel immersed as a 10/10 triad martial arts demi-god. Drifting birds has pretty terrible driving as well, about 1/2 through my playthrough i got the best car in the game and now i completely understand why paul walker is no longer with us, death traps frfr. Shooty pigs also has some pretty abysmal shooting mechanics. for all shooting mechanics you are and will feel like a real stormtrooper from star wars, they implemented a blind fire mechanic because i think it was actually programmed by a blind man, because it is completely pointless to use unless you like to see how good you are at missing. Chicken little: Dog Days overall is a great rosetta stone alternative and would recommend to any other struggling student out there.
