Most of these characters are really annoying and the game is just overall boring. I do like you can go in and out of classic view, that part is pretty cool but about it. Almost all the battling can be done on auto, yawn...

The last update added campaign co-op and it's great! I look forward to more great updates like this.

Garbage, make the real mw3 for multiplayer from 2011 . It's so garbage, I have to launch this, wait for it to load, and then switch over to play the previous game. Can no longer just launch mw2.

My review so far. A lot of my con's I feel will be fixed or addressed later down the line witch is why I am still recommending this game. I know there is always a rough rode in game startups. I have faith!

PROS:
Game has a cool day and night cycle.
Great potential in this sci-fi fps/ rts genre
Some of the effects look really nice like explosions.
I like the units they have so far and I'm sure more will come in the future.
There is a fast travel but it can be hard to see where you are teleporting on the map.

CONS:
Game feels really slow paced as a commander
Some units take FOREVER to get from A to B and not just from map size, example is the hovertank is painfully slow.
No air units yet but I'm assuming they will be added.
I'm not sure if it's a bug I get a down to 9 FPS in multiplayer mode however playing with just my friend and I, I can run over 60 FPS no problem.
Harvester unit gets stuck often with out micro to assist.
Horrible audio change when switching to night vision.
Times when the day cycle starts the light is really overpowering to the point players are talking about wearing sunglasses xD.
FRIENDLY FIRE WITHOUT PENALTY! Already running into servers with people killing their own teammates over and over.
Players can only buy class upgrades and not vehicles with their credits in FPS mode.

This is a very nice Fire Emblem style game but better done in my opinion. You get to build and manage armies and play with up to 200 characters in your maxed army. I find this to be a very wonderful concept instead of getting a new character only to replace them and never use them again in Fire Emblem. The only flaw I had with this game is the difficulty didn't scale right. In the start it was a good tactical challenge but after chap 12 or is where it started tipping the other way into to easy even with permadeath. Overall great game and I love the features that were in this that made it stand alone. Hope to see another like this someday.

Good strategy game, not overly complex or high learning curve.

Got this on sale for like $5 with deluxe and it's well worth it. It plays a bit choppy compared to AAA games like COD but I really love the rts/fps mechanics. Biggest issue I've had so far was lack of checkpoints in coop story and the game failing to save my level xp which is a slow grind... Hopefully the xp thing doesn't kill the game for me but for now I recommend it...

Good game, with some challenge to it. Doesn't support flight sticks so you'll have to run them through steam custom controls to get one working which I did. Biggest down side is no IR tracking or VR support like the game had on ps4 back in the day for looking around. Game play is fun, story is kinda weird but w/e. Some missions are pretty intense, fighting in lightning and using instruments to stay level in the clouds. Overall good stuff, wish VR worked though.

Great game, lots of freedom to play how you want. Nice graphics, music, gameplay mechanics, and although I'm reviewing this at 150hrs I still haven't beat the game. There is a lot to do in it if you want to so grab this game when you can.






why are you still reading and not buying the game yet?

It's alright, more of how Borderlands 2 was but not as good. A lot of flak on the second season pass dlc but guess that's a review for another section. Overall the game is pretty decent.
